“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” – Philippians 2:5
This morning, the choir at my church sang this song (click on link above the picture to hear the song), and it really touched my heart. All signs around us seem to indicate that the time of Jesus’ return to call God’s children home is imminent. While this event is wonderfully anticipated by every saved person, it will be an awful moment for those left behind. As I listened to the words, tears filled my eyes when I thought of all those who would not be part of the group to whom 1 Thessalonians 4;17 refers. “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
I pray I will see the world through the eyes of Christ and share His gospel with those who desperately need Jesus. He alone can provide the peace of God that comes with salvation through Him.
“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” – Luke 10:2
