So, Who Is He?

I read the main points of this post online and felt it would be wonderful to share here. While I did add the verses, commentary, and song, the author of the main concepts was unnamed. I hope this is a blessing to you especially in this Christmas season as it was to me.

So, Who is He?

  • In Chemistry, He turned water to wine.
    • So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine…” – John 4:46a
  • In Biology, He was born without the normal conception.
    • Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14
  • In Physics, He disproved the Law of Gravity when He ascended into Heaven.
    • And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.” – Acts 1:9
  • In Economics, He disproved the Law of Diminishing Return by feeding 5000 men with 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread.
    • And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude… And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.” – Matthew 14:19,21
  • In Medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of drugs.
    • And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” – Mark 10:52
  • In History, He is the Beginning and the End.
    • And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”- Revelation 21:6
  • In Government, He carried the government upon His shoulders as the Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9;6
  • In Religion, He said no one comes to the Father except through Him.
    • Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”- John 14:6

So, who is He? He is Jesus, the Son of God… the One who God the Father sent to be the Saviour of the world! (1 John 4:14)

*Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master.
*Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
*Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
*He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
*He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
*He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
*He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today!

And it is this Jesus who loves me with an everlasting love! (Jeremiah 31:3)
It is this Jesus who walked the road to Calvary and died for my sins on that old rugged cross to give me everlasting life! (John 3:16)  It is this Jesus who is preparing a place for me in heaven! (John 14:3)

That’s my Jesus! It is He whom I celebrate this Christmas!

Isn’t He wonderful, wonderful, wonderful,
Isn’t Jesus my Lord wonderful?
Eyes have seen, ears have heard
It’s recorded in God’s Word,
Isn’t Jesus my Lord wonderful?

(from “Isn’t He Wonderful?” author unknown)

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” – Luke 2:10-11
